Marauder Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2010-11 school year! Monache High School continues to take pride in our school culture which focuses on student learning and a commitment to high expectations, innovation and collaboration. The Monache High School staff intends to carry on these important traditions and practices.
There are a few significant changes for the 2010-11 school year. First, the schedule has changed from six to seven periods per day. School will start five minutes earlier and will end five minutes later. Second, the graduation requirements for the classes of 2012, 2013, and 2014 have been changed to reflect the new seven-period schedule. Third, the new student cell phone policy will allow students to use their phone outside the classroom. Cell phones that are visible and/or turned on in the classroom will be confiscated and the student will be subject to disciplinary action.
We are also pleased to announce that Monache has two new and experienced Assistant Principals to join our team. They are Mrs. Tammy Keith and Mr. Jose Valdez. They are both excited to be at Monache High school and work with our parents, students, and staff.
Principal, Richard Smithey
