Monache High School continues to implement the new Expected School-Wide Learning Results (ESLERs), which focus upon what we want all students to know upon graduation. The phrase "Pride in the TRIBE" is a reminder to staff and students the importance of Teamwork, Responsibility, Integrity, Balance, and Excellence in order for all students to achieve the MHS ESLERs.
There are several high priorities for MHS this school year. In March, a WASC Accreditation team will be visiting MHS, reviewing our self study report, and assisting in our school improvement process. We will continue our work toward implementing the new California Common Core Standards, which will roll out at the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year.

Character Counts is an extremely important set of values that are emphasized here at Monache. Our teachers and students strive to carry out the six pillars of character both in and out of school. On May 18, 2012, the Monache administration held its annual Character Counts lunchtime rally. All awardees were presented with a certificate and a free ice cream coupon to commend them for displaying positive character traits. Listed below are the Character Counts award recipients.
